¿Qué significa UC en "Mobile Suit Gundam"?

La serie de University Country es la serie ancestral de Gundam y la más clásica. No es para recién llegados, porque habla de grandes guerras, no de heroísmo personal claro, porque se va a estrenar; en 2010 Unicorn, la abreviatura es unicornio, por lo que UC también puede referirse a Gundam Unicorn.
